We are the only brick and mortar shelter in one of the highest poverty counties in MO. We struggle to handle the needs of low income pet owners and the constant struggle of neglect and abuse. We have seen in increase in evictions and animals being dumped in our area and our small county does not have a lot of revenue places to generate donations.
