Almost Home Animal Sanctuary opens their doors to dogs, cats, and horses, offering sanctuary services to animals that need a special place to care for them. AHAS also
provides rescue, rehabilitation, and re-education (training) services to dogs who often get labeled by their problem behavior, giving them few viable options in the rescue world. Our goal is to work with dogs and prepare owners to create well behaved pups, resolving any challenging behaviors. We believe that we can keep pets in their home and thus out of shelters when we provide owners the tools to better understand their dogs, teaching them a new way to communicate with their canine friends. We rehab dogs who have no other options, while working with adopters to ensure they have a smooth successful transition.
